Workday implemented its semiannual system release on Saturday, September 19. Workday releases system updates twice each year, in March and September, to deliver new features, enhancements, and improvements. These updates may affect specific user groups or the broader UCF community.
What Is a Workday System Release?
System updates, also called system releases, install modifications within Workday to provide enhanced system functionality.
What to Expect?
For our September system release, the UCF user community will notice updates in these areas:
- Updated visual design
- Refreshed, modern Workday Home page
- Updates to Absence Menu
- Exporting Charts as Images
- Updates to Requisitions
- Workday Knowledge Article Printing
- Workday Mobile Updates
The Workday System Release Guide provides an overview of the upcoming enhancements. Workday users are encouraged to review the guide to stay current to the upcoming changes to the system.
